Gravitate is the only product we’ve come across to offer such an exciting combination of effective ingredients.

Gravitate Supersculpt and Gravitate DietVits Claimed weight loss benefits

On the ‘How it Works’ page, Gravitate Nutrition claim that the combination of the 2 products that make up their weight loss kits target all 5 key areas of weight loss.

They also claim that their Supersculpt product is designed to suppress your appetite, make you feel full and prevent snacking. We agree that Supersculpt will suppress your appetite.

Furthermore, the Gravitate DietVits contain a larger blend of ingredients which claim to aid in burning fat, blocking carbohydrates and boosting the metabolism, which is believed to subsequently increase energy levels and reduce fatigue. We agree with these claims.

In addition, each Gravitate weight loss kit comes with a free optional eating plan. This plan includes tips and instructions to get the most out of their products, as well as a meal plan which ensures that customers consume a healthy, balanced diet. Gravitate products can also be used alongside all major diet plans.

How Gravitate Supersculpt and Gravitate DietVits Works

Gravitate Nutrition include a ‘How it Works’ page on their website which explains what each product does and how it does so. Here, they state that the Supersculpt product aids in appetite suppression while the DietVits are said to help to burn fat, block carbohydrates and boost metabolism.

They also include a page about the ingredients used in both products and how they work individually both in terms of weight loss as well as their effect on the body generally.

More detailed information on how the products work can be found in their weight loss plan that comes free with each purchase of their weight loss kits.

How Each Ingredient Works

Glucomannan is an ingredient used in weight loss primarily as an appetite suppressant, with claims of promoting satiety. When it comes to appetite suppression, ingredients often work either physically or psychologically, and glucomannan suppresses appetite through a physical process.

Glucomannan is said to be a soluble fibre which can’t be digested into the body. Instead, it ‘swells up’ and just remains in the stomach and takes up room so that it takes less food to make you fell full. Gravitate Nutrition also claim that glucomannan slows down the rate in which the body absorbs sugars and carbohydrates.

Gravitate Nutrition claim that chromium’s role in promoting weight loss is to increase metabolism and subsequently encourage fat burning. They claim that this is because chromium enhances and stimulates the production of insulin in the body, and this is said to transport glucose to different cells in the body.

By transporting glucose to various bodily cells, it’s said that this provides the body and each of its cells with energy which then allegedly breaks down fat and glucose. This is therefore said to raise your energy levels to make you more alert and active, and to speed up the rate of fat burning.

The official site for Gravitate Nutrition discusses how calcium is meant to aid in strengthening bones and teeth, as well as boosting metabolism and burning fat. However, they don’t go into too much detail about how calcium achieves this.

It’s said that calcium has thermogenic properties due to its caffeine contents, and this implies that the ingredient raises our internal body heat, a popular method seen in many alleged weight loss ingredients.

Thermogenesis is a fairly popular process which is said to encourage fat burning because the rise in internal body heat is believed to convert fat cells into energy, which is not only said to make you feel more alert, active and concentrated, but it’s also believed to be a faster and safer way to burn fat naturally.

Vitamin E

On the ingredients list on their website, Gravitate Nutrition claim that vitamin E has antioxidant properties and is said to ‘protect cell membranes, strengthen the immune system and maintain healthy skin and eyes’. However, they don’t go into too much detail about how vitamin E may aid in weight loss.

It’s said that the combination of vitamin E and vitamin K can aid in building and strengthening muscles, which can potentially have an impact on becoming fitter, healthier and more active. These vitamins are said to do this by aiding in the production of red blood cells.

B Vitamins

Gravitate DietVits contains a number of different vitamins, and this includes a blend of B vitamins. Unlike other vitamins which are fat-soluble, B vitamins are water-soluble and therefore exit the body through urine instead of being absorbed into the body like fat-soluble vitamins are, and this is said to reduce the amount of fat absorbed into the body.

Gravitate Nutrition claim that the B vitamins aid in boosting metabolism, which can allegedly lead to faster, more effective rates of fat burning. They claim that the B vitamins used in their DietVits work together to help ‘break down and release energy from food’ to essentially convert your food into energy.

It’s also said that vitamin B6 may reduce fat because it allegedly ‘fuels’ cells within the body, and this is said to encourage the fat cells to burn. These results are believed to be enhanced when the vitamin B6 is combined with other ingredients including zinc, as it is in Gravitate DietVits, which is said to improve digestion and prevent food from being stored as fat.

Key Gravitate Supersculpt and Gravitate DietVits Ingredients

molecular 538

As mentioned before, Gravitate Nutrition’s weight loss kits are made up of 2 different products: Gravitate Supersculpt and Gravitate DietVits. Supersculpt only has 1 predominant ingredient called ‘glucomannan’, while the DietVits is made up of many active ingredients, and 6 of them are listed below.

On their official website, Gravitate Nutrition includes an entire page on the ingredients used in their products. Here, they include general information about each ingredient, as well as discussing their role in the products in terms of the effect they have on weight loss. They also include a link to each product label which lists the ingredients and product information.

Active Ingredients

Glucomannan is a fibre found naturally in the root of the ‘Amorphophallus konjac’ plant which is native to eastern Asian countries such as Japan, China and Indonesia.

Glucomannan is used not only as an appetite suppressant, but also in medicine where it’s used to treat constipation and type-2 diabetes, as well as being used to lower cholesterol and regulate levels of blood sugar.

In addition to being used in medicine, glucomannan is also used as a thickening/gelling agent in food, and you can buy glucomannan flour and powder which can also be used in food.

As mentioned on the Gravitate Nutrition site, chromium is an essential mineral which the body needs, but only in small doses. Chromium is believed to enhance levels of insulin in the body, and this is said to regulate levels of blood sugar in the body. For these reasons, many people with diabetes, pre-diabetes and abnormally high blood sugar use chromium based treatments.

Again, due to its alleged ability to increase insulin levels, chromium is also used in anti-depressants because a rise in insulin is believed to cause an increase in levels of the hormone serotonin. Other uses include reducing levels of bad (LDL) cholesterol and raising good (HDL) cholesterol, particularly in patients taking beta blockers, and treating polycystic ovary syndrome.

Found naturally in our body – especially in our teeth and bones – calcium is a mineral that our body needs, which is said to strengthen bones and tissue. In addition to being a natural aid in our bodies, calcium is also used for various medicinal purposes.

For example, people use calcium to treat calcium deficiency, PMS, osteoporosis, rickets and osteomalacia. It’s also used by pregnant women to treat high blood pressure and leg cramps, and to potentially prevent cancers of the rectum and colon. Others use calcium to improve heart function and the nerves and blood clotting systems.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is said to be an antioxidant which protects cell membranes and can be found naturally in foods such as wheat germ, eggs, fruits, vegetables, cereals, nuts, seeds, meat, poultry and plant oils.

As well as being used as a supplement to treat vitamin E deficiency, people use it to treat and prevent cancer, diseases of the heart and blood vessels, heart attacks chest pain and high blood pressure. Others use vitamin E to treat diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s chorea, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and restless leg syndrome.

B Vitamins

Generally, there are 2 types of vitamins: fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E and K or water-soluble vitamins which include vitamins C, folic acid and the B vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed and stored in the body until you need to use them, while the water-soluble vitamins enter and exit the body regularly and aren’t absorbed into the body.

While this implies that water-soluble vitamins are perhaps less harmful, it does mean that we need to ensure that we consume B vitamins on a daily basis, which we generally do through our diet. As well as containing some fat-soluble vitamins, Gravitate DietVits contains a blend of B vitamins such as vitamins B1, B2, B6, B7, B12 and folic acid. While the average person consumes them naturally through their diet, this product ensures that your body has an efficient amount.

Clinical Studies

Clinical Researcher 538

Clinical studies are a good method of discovering how effective and safe a product, ingredient or drug is. These studies generally use either human volunteers or animals, and they’re often conducted before the said treatment is released for public consumption. Researchers often use a randomised, double-blind and placebo-controlled format in order to produce clearer, fairer and more reliable results.

As is often the case, it appears that there’s no clinical studies on Gravitate Supersculpt & Gravitate DietVits as a package. However, there are clinical studies on the individual ingredients instead.

Clinical Studies on Glucomannan

Glucomannan is perhaps most commonly known for its alleged appetite suppressing properties, although there appears to be a lack of evidence to support this. However, the following study explored the effects that glucomannan had on a group of pregnant women when using the ingredient to treat constipation.

Participants consumed sachets of a substance containing glucomannan and lactulose every day for 1-3 months and results found that as well as treating the constipation, the combination of glucomannan and lactulose also seemed to reduce food intake and weight gain.

A sample of 20 obese subjects were used in a second study where they were administered 2 500mg glucomannan capsules an hour before each of their 3 meals per day, or a placebo, and this study lasted for a total of 8 weeks.

To gain a clearer idea of how the glucomannan affected the subjects, they were asked not to make any changes to their eating or exercise habits and patterns. Results found that those consuming the glucomannan experienced a significant weight loss, with an overall average of 5.5 lbs lost overall. Furthermore, they found that their cholesterol had been significantly reduced as well.

Clinical Studies on Chromium

The impact that chromium has on factors such as glucose, insulin and ‘lipid variables’ was measured in the following study, using a sample of 76 ‘normal’ volunteers who were given either 200mg of chromium each day for 3 months, or a placebo.

20 of the 76 participants underwent a ‘glucose challenge’ which monitored their blood sugar, and this was important because changes in blood sugar levels may lead to fat reduction. Those participating in the glucose challenge received a minimum of 100mg of serum glucose concentration, and this equated to 1g of glucose per kilogram of body weight.

Measurements were taken and results found that although there wasn’t a significant change in insulin levels, body weight or lipid levels, there was a dramatic reduction in blood glucose, which may imply that chromium has an indirect way of targeting weight loss through the regulation of blood sugar levels, but more evidence is needed.

Clinical Studies on Calcium

This 15 week study examined the fat loss inducing effects that a supplement containing calcium and vitamin D, using a sample of 63 women, some of which were calcium deficient while the others were considered ‘normal’. Participants received either the calcium and vitamin D supplement or a placebo twice a day before measurements were taken.

Results found a considerable reduction in body weight, fat mass and spontaneous dietary lipid intake in those with calcium deficiency, although the ‘normal’ subjects didn’t see any significant changes. While this may indicate that consumption of calcium, perhaps when combined with vitamin D, may aid in weight loss in those with calcium deficiency, more evidence is certainly required.

Clinical Studies on Vitamin E

This study looked at the effects that consuming a diet rich in vitamin E had on weight loss in a sample of 180 overweight or obese individuals who were non-smokers and lived a sedentary lifestyle and had an average age of 42 years old.

Participants were divided into 3 groups: the first group only participated in exercise, while the second group exercised and consumed a low-calorie diet. The third group, however, consumed a low-calorie diet consisting of cereals and grains which are rich in vitamin E as well as exercising.

The study lasted for a total of 24 weeks and involved two ‘phases’; the first phase consisted of the first 12 weeks and involved weekly counselling, whereas the second phase – the last 12 weeks – only included monitoring.

Appropriate measurements were taken at weeks before and after the study, as well as in the middle of the 2 phases, and results found that those exercising and consuming the low-calorie diet rich in vitamin E saw the most significant reduction in body fat and saturated fat, and this was evident by week 12.

Clinical Studies on B Vitamins

The following article explored the correlation between consuming vitamin supplements and changes in body weight. Data was collected from a number of past papers and previous studies, although the results all seemed to be fairly subjective as the participants used were asked about their personal experiences with a selection of popular ingredients used in weight loss products, as opposed to using solid evidence.

This was a long-term study as the research was carried out over a duration of 10 years, using a huge sample consisting of 15,655 participants aged between 53-57 years of age. Participants were asked about their experiences with ingredients such as chromium, coenzyme Q10, essential fatty acids, fiber, garlic, ginkgo biloba, panax ginseng, melatonin, soy, and St. John’s wort, as well as multivitamins and vitamins B6 and B12.

From the masses of information collected, they found that results generally indicated that long-term consumption of multivitamins, B vitamins and chromium showed a more significant reduction in body weight compared to other ingredients mentioned before. This is especially interesting in this case because Gravitate DietVits contains multivitamins, B6, B12 and chromium, but more evidence may be necessary.

Gravitate Supersculpt and Gravitate DietVits Side Effects

Woman With Stomach Ache 538

There’s no mention of potential side effects on the Gravitate Nutrition website. In fact, they claim that their products are completely safe and free from risk of side effects. They repeatedly state that their products contain ‘100% natural ingredients’, are ‘stimulant free’ and have ‘no side effects’.

However, even if the ingredients used are natural and stimulant free, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re completely safe, and some customers may experience side effects or adverse reactions, even if they’re only mild.

You can gain an insight into the product’s overall safety by looking at side effects associated with the individual ingredients, using clinical evidence as a more reliable indication of their safety.

Side Effects Associated With Each Ingredient

The following study examined the safety of glucomannan when consumed in doses of 3g per day for a total of 8 weeks, and they found that the ingredient caused no adverse side effects. Subjects consumed their glucomannan supplements with 8 ounces of water, which may have been to lower the risk of throat blockages.

Chromium is believed to be an ‘essential trace element’ which implies that it shouldn’t cause any adverse side effects, because our body supposedly needs it in small doses. WebMD claim that chromium should be safe when consumed in doses of up to 1000mcg for at least 6 months, though it may be longer for some adults. In terms of children, oral consumption of chromium is said to be likely to be safe if it’s in small quantities.

Nonetheless, chromium has been said to cause some side effects including irritation to the skin, headaches, dizziness, nausea and changes in mood, as well as impaired thinking, judgement and co-ordination.

There have also been reports that chromium may be connected to more serious side effects including kidney damage, liver damage and blood disorders, although whether or not chromium was the cause of these side effects is still unknown.

Calcium is found naturally in your teeth and bones, and is said to be an essential mineral for your body to strengthen and grow. However, according to WebMD, minor side effects such as gas and belching have been reported when using calcium in supplement form.

The idea that calcium isn’t harmful, however, is criticised by ‘The Institute of Medicine’ who claim that while we do need calcium in our bodies, it can cause more severe side effects including heart attack. However, there’s limited evidence to support this, and in these cases it’s unknown whether the calcium was actually the cause of the heart attack.

Vitamin E

As vitamin E is found naturally in many common foods, it’s said to be likely safe when consumed orally or applied to the skin, and the safe dose is believed to be up to 15mg a day. However, WebMD claim that vitamin E may be unsafe when consumed orally in high doses of 400 IU each day, especially if you have any conditions such as heart disease or diabetes.

They also state that consumption of vitamin E in doses of 300-800 IU per day has been shown to increase the risk of experiencing a stroke called ‘hemorrhagic stroke’ by 22%, and this is said to cause bleeding to the brain.

However, these doses are very high and are unlikely to be this high in dietary supplements, although if you have any of the medical conditions mentioned, or if you’re generally concerned, it may be advised to consult your doctor before using the product.

B Vitamins

As mentioned before, our bodies need B vitamins, and because they’re water-soluble and don’t stay in our body, it’s important for us to consume these vitamins regularly. This also implies that there shouldn’t be any adverse risks associated with B vitamins because they simply exit our bodies on a daily basis.

While our bodies require vitamins in order to remain healthy, it’s believed that excessive consumption can potentially cause minor short-term side effects including diarrhoea, nausea and stomach upset. While these potential side effects may be short-term, it’s advised that patients talk to a doctor if the symptoms persist for longer.

Furthermore, there are some alleged risks of more adverse side effects associated with consumption of B vitamins, at least when consumed in excess. These include allergic reactions, a ‘swelling sensation’ across your body, numbness and tingling of the skin. These side effects may be highly unlikely to encounter, but immediate medical assistance is heavily advised if they occur.

How To Use

Woman With Pills 538

The usage instructions for Gravitate Supersculpt and DietVits are fairly straightforward and can be found at the bottom of their ‘How it Works’ page. Here, they include the directions of use for each product separately in order to cater for customers who may only be buying one of the products, as well as those looking to buy the weight loss package.

Gravitate Nutrition instruct customers to consume 1-2 Supersculpt capsules three times a day, 15-60 minutes before breakfast, lunch and dinner. They advise beginners to start off with only consuming 1 capsule before each meal before increasing the dosage to 2 capsules if you feel like you need a boost. They use diagrams to depict that customers are encouraged to consume their Supersculpt capsules with 1-2 full glasses of water to prevent choking or any throat blockages.

The company indicates that the usage instructions for the DietVits are much simpler and lenient, as you’re only instructed to consume one of these capsules per day, and the time of day in which you consume it supposedly doesn’t matter. They do, however, encourage customers to take this supplement with a glass of water and with food.

While the company boasts about their products being completely safe and stimulant free, they do include a disclaimer at the bottom of every page which warns that their statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. They also suggest that customers should consult a medical professional before using their product(s) if they suffer from any food allergies, are taking any type of medication or if they have a medical condition such as diabetes, epilepsy, or an overactive thyroid.

Hi, I really want to try these tablets. Do you think they will work for me if I don’t stick to the diet plan?

I plan to eat my own healthy low calorie diet and exercise 2 – 3 times per week. Just light cardio such as a 2 mile walk.

I currently weigh 11 stone 2lbs and would like to be closer to 10 stone.

  2. bobbi says:

Just received my products today and I’m impressed so far… Guide book is really informative and easy to follow… I’m going to start taking them on Monday so will post back here with an update x

    • M Shraim says:

Can you update us please on the result after 4 weeks??

      • bobbi says:

        Hello, here’s my update:

I had quite a bit of weight to lose (3 stone), so I had planned to take 2 x supersculpt capsules 3 times per day, which is the higher dose.

I emailed their support team with some questions and they advised me to start off by taking 1 capsule 3 times per day for first week to allow my body to get used to them and then increase to 2 capsules per day for maximum effect. The support team was really quick and helpful so I felt really excited to start.

I should say I have also made an effort to follow the Dos and Don’t in the guide book such as cutting out junk food and eating more fresh healthy food.

For the first week I took 1 x supersculpt 3 times per day about 20 mins before each meal. I also took 1 x dietvits each day, normally with breakfast. I found myself eating around a third less at meal times as it started to feel full much quicker. Normally I still feel hungry even after a full meal ad start snacking on other food. I also found I stopped snacking inbetween meals.

The first thing I noticed about taking gravitate is you just don’t feel as hungry, so it’s not like you’re having to force yourself to eat smaller portion like on a normal diet. You just feel full with much less food.

I also noticed I had more energy. I seemed to be losing excess weight off my stomach, thighs and bottom which might be partly due to the fat burning part of the product.

I lost roughly 2.5 lbs in the first week without too much effort.

In the second week I increased my dose to 2 supersculpt tablets 3 x per day plus the 1 dietvit tablet.

My portions naturally reduced to about 50% my energy levels went even higher and I started to feel a lot better in myself. My weight loss was a little under 4lbs!

Week 3, I continued with the same number of tablets but for some reason I only lost 1lb so I was a little demoralised but when I re-focused myself for week 4 and managed to lose 3.5lbs.

I think there are a lot of factors involved so don’t get too focused on exact weight loss each week as long as you’re moving in the right direction that’s all that matters as it all adds up.

I’m really over the moon with my results and people are starting to comment on how great I’m looking and I just feel so much better in myself. My stomach is much flatter, bum more toned and thighs are noticeably thinner.

At the start my husband was very sceptical about them but now he’s started taking them as well and they are working for him too 🙂

There are no magic pills to make you drop 10 dress sizes overnight whilst still eating unhealthy food. However, these are about as close as you can get to that magic pill we’re all looking for, whilst also being safe and natural. You will have improve you eating habits but they sure make the whole process a lot more easier and quicker.

I’d love to hear everyone else’s experiences too.

    • Rita says:

Do you think it is working for you? Are you satisfied? Is it really an appetite suppressant?

  3. Ms Mia says:

I’m terrible when it comes to snacking in between meals! It’s always been my downfall but with a holiday coming up I was pretty desperate to get in shape. I’ve tried diet pills before but thry never really worked but after reading so many positive reviews of this kit I though i’d give it a go as I didn’t really think there was any risk with the guarantee.

Superscult pills are really easy to swallow but the Dietvits I found best when snapped in half as they’re a bit bigger. Anyway to cut a long story short they are probably the only diet pill I’ve ever used which actually do what they promise to do.

Great value for money – I got the 4 month pack which had a special offer on the official website where you buy 3 months supply and get another 1 month free. Seems like great value for money when you see how much product turns up… I just love the guide book. I often find that products are totally let down by poor usage instructions. It’s like they just leave you on your own to work it out. But anyway not Gravitate – the book which comes with the kit is amazing and really easy to follow… You get a sense of how much effort has gone into making the product… I’ve not had to contract customer support but reading some of the other reviews it’s no surprise everyone seems to be saying the support is great as you really feel like the company care about getting you great results. God bless…

  5. Phiwa says:

I like to try them, where can I get them?

  6. Eliza says:

This company is good. Last year, I used diet drop from them, it helped me to loose 4kg in a month. But they stop produce diet drop and make diet pills instead. I bought a 2 month package. Used it for a week, lose 1kg so far.

  7. TRACY says:

I had very high hopes reading about some of the fast weight loss results people have experienced but I didnt get the same results. Didn’t really change my diet or do any exercise which probably didnt help. Lost about 1.5lb per week for a couple of weeks which was a bit disappointing. I never belive these money back guarantees but they did actually let me send it back for a refund. Felt a bit guilty afterwards as I probably could have tried a bit harder. Very honest company and they did try to give me lots of help but I jus love my pizza and ice cream to much.

    • M Taylor says:

Sounds like your weight loss of 1.5lb per week was very good considering you didn’t change your diet or do any exercise! Really not sure what some people expect!!

    • Ava says:

I lost 4lbs per week but let me tell you I did have to change my diet and I did have to go for a brisk 20 min walk each day. You don’t get anything in life without putting in some effort.

Yes the pills help ALOT but you still need to make changes. And when you put the effort in and get results you feel FANTASTIC!

THANKS GUYS! I’m pretty chuffed myself. Yeah I followed the meal ideas in the book that came with the pills. I noticed my hunger wasn’t so much so it was easy to cut down my portions. I did make an effort to stop snacking tho and when I felt like I’d snack I increased my dosage to 2 pills before my meals instead of 1.

Hello, not seeing any massive results yet, i’m taking 1 supersculpt and 3 diet vits per day for 1 week. Going to ask for a refund will let you know how it goes.

    • Abi says:

My dear have you read the instructions? You’re suppose to take 1 – 2 supersculpt tablets 15 mins to 1 hour before meals (3 – 6 per day) and just 1 dietvit tablet per day. Sounds like you’ve got it the wrong way round.

i emailed support and they told me the same thing. That explains a lot. Ok will give them another try and update you guys in another week.

Ok they are working now. Seeing some decent results. Not as big as some others have reported but i’m much happier now and seeing a reduction in fat on my belly.
