Miracle Diet Drops Review
Claimed weight loss benefits
The following is a series of claims made by the manufacturer from the official website along with our thoughts:
‘Miracle diet drops claims it is a unique plan in that they offer what NO OTHER UK plan does online’ this is not strictly true, there are a few diet products who offer diet advice in addition to the product although they do not go to the extent that Miracle Diet Drops do. So in this regard we can probably let the manufacturer get away with this one. Another big aspect of the product is the support structure they have in place allowing them ‘to tailor support to each member’. We are quite happy that the manufacturer can indeed provide this service. ‘We are always on hand on our online forum which is covered by experienced members who have done the plan themselves and gone through maintenance where you introduce all normal foods back into your diet’, once again there is no real reason why we can disprove this claim.
‘You will have a higher energy level whilst taking Miracle Diet Drops and be sleeping better; your confidence will be buzzing!’ While green tea does indeed increase metabolic rate there is no guarantee that you will sleep better and so we cannot bring ourselves to pass this claim off as acceptable.
‘Our drops are a blend of vitamins and mineral supplements that actually work with the hypothalamus to help reset the pituitary and endocrine. In simple terms for many of us our metabolism has become slow due to usually not eating enough of the right foods and too many low fat low sugar processed foods.’ This is not the accepted cause for a slow metabolism; generally the reason for a slow metabolism is because an individual eats sugary foods and then in an attempt to lose weight goes on a calorie restricted diet. This causes the metabolism to slow down because there is no food available to break down; incidentally a low calorie diet is exactly what Miracle Diet Drops are promoting.
How Miracle Diet Drops Works
The only ingredient in this product that has demonstrated weight loss potential in human studies is green tea and because of this we can only really talk about the process known as thermogenesis. Chances are that you have heard this word banded around before but don’t really understand what it means. Thermogenesis is a term used to describe the heat produced from an increase in metabolic rate so in order to understand thermogenesis you need to know about metabolic rate.
Your metabolism is the rate at which chemical processes happen in your body in order to produce energy in the form of ATP.
Metabolism refers to all the chemical processes going on continuously inside your body that allow life and normal functioning (maintaining normal functioning in the body is called homeostasis). These processes include those that break down nutrients from our food, and those that build and repair our body. Building and repairing the body requires energy that ultimately comes from your food. The amount of energy, measured in kilojoules (kJ), that your body burns at any given time is affected by your metabolism. If we eat and drink more kilojoules than we need for our metabolism and exercise, we store it mostly as fat. Most of the energy you expend each day is used to keep all the systems in your body functioning properly. This is out of your control. However, you can make metabolism your body’s metabolic rate (or total energy expenditure) can be divided into two components, which are:
Basal metabolic rate (BMR)
Is the amount of kilojoules (kJ) burned at rest. BMR includes the energy the body uses to keep all its systems functioning correctly. It accounts for the largest amount of energy expended daily (50-80 per cent of your daily energy use). Energy used during physical activity – in a moderately active person (30–45 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per day), this component contributes 20 per cent of daily energy use.
Thermic effect of food
Is the energy you use to eat, digest and metabolise food. It contributes about 5-10 per cent of your energy use work for you when you exercise.

Green tea as you recognise it is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant originally grown in China, however rising popularity and demand for the plant has resulted in it being grown in many different countries. The variety of different climates that the plant is exposed to results in a number of different types of green tea each unique to a specific region. The first recorded mention of green tea has been dated as far back as 2723 BC for the purposes of general medical care and as a beverage. Modern day green tea is now more famous for its supposed ability to raise metabolic rate causing more calories to be burnt without needing to change your lifestyle.

Ginseng can only be found in the Northern Hemisphere and in particular North America and Eastern Asia. Ginseng is particularly common in folk medicine and this area is essentially its sole application. Having said this you can find ginseng in some energy drinks and herbal tea although it appears in only very small amounts. On the whole, very little is actually known about ginseng and only very tentative research studies on rodents has been conducted thus far.
The third and final ingredient besides the collection of amino acids that are found in the product is ginkgo leaf. This ingredient has been a staple of Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. It is also extremely resilient as demonstrated by being one of few surviving plants to survive the Hiroshima bombings. The Ginkgo produces nuts which are often used in Chinese cuisine although they are generally saved for major occasions such as weddings and New Year celebrations. The ingredient has also shown early promise in dementia treatment although the mechanisms behind this are not fully understood.
For more information about the scientific evidence behind these ingredients, we recommend you read our Miracle Diet Drops Clinical Studies article.
|Weight Loss Power:||40/100|
As we don’t know the quantities of each ingredient it is impossible to determine how powerful the product is likely to be. Studies have shown that three of the ingredients have shown some promise in terms of weight loss but these were carried out on rodents and so there is no certainty whether these results can be replicated in humans. The product promises 12 lbs of weight loss within 23 days and so it must pack quite a punch. However, if this was really the case then the product should not hesitate to openly display ingredient quantities. This sheds some doubt on whether the product is actually as powerful as they advertise it to be. There is certainly no real evidence to back up their claims as it is.
|Speed of results:||45/100|
As there is no available information regarding to ingredient quantities it is almost impossible to predict how quickly the product will work. The main selling point of the product is that you can lose roughly 12 lbs in 23 days and in order for this to happen there needs to be plenty of ingredients. For the majority of people a period of three weeks is a fairly short period of time; however it is expected that you should be maintaining a low calorie diet. It may therefore be seen as too much hassle for some customers. The company also advise you to stick to a six week maintenance phase; therefore the duration of the plan is more like 9 weeks in order to see maximal benefits rather than the 23 days you have to take the actual product for. In this regard, the speed of results will be fairly slow although consistent if you follow the plan to the letter.
Appetite suppression is not really a feature in this product. The plan advises that you adopt a low calorie diet and therefore your appetite is likely to increase in the first few days until you get used to the diet. By following the diet your appetite will eventually decrease although this will only be a short term measure. The introduction of a low calorie diet is to get you to think about what you are eating so that when you return to a normal calorie diet you don’t start returning to sweets and chocolate. Therefore, while appetite suppressing properties are present, the product itself does not contain any dedicated appetite suppressing ingredient and for some customers their appetite will increase due to the low calorie diet.
|Long Term Results:||45/100|
As the company advise you should only take the product for 23 days then there are no long term results to speak off. However, the results lie in the six week maintenance plan once you have finished taking the product. If you can adopt the healthy eating principles of the plan then you should be able to continue to lose weight way into the future. However, if you struggle with the maintenance plan then you will probably revert back to old habits and the potential for weight loss into the future will be reduced until such time when you start a different weight loss supplement or diet plan.
The product itself is fairly safe and shouldn’t cause you any grave concerns if guidelines are followed. As with any ingredient there is the risk of serious side effects if dosages are exceeded. While taking Miracle Diet Drops you may experience insomnia, vomiting and digestive distress although these symptoms are not altogether common. The real problem lies in the low calorie diet, such a sudden change can result in fatigue, light headedness and migraines just to name a few. It would be wise to slowly take away problem foods over the course of a week or two rather than try to get rid of everything at once. We also can’t prepare for the advice given by your ‘buddy’ as it could not be suitable for your needs even if it means well. As long as you play it safe and sensibly there should be no real problems.
|Value for money:||65/100|
You certainly do get a lot of bang for your buck when purchasing this product. For just £25 you get the product, ‘buddy’ support and a recipe e-book. Of course you will have to spend extra money on obtaining the ingredients in order to make the recipes but this is at your digression. If you could only buy the product for £25 and got nothing else then this product would not be value for money at all as it only lasts for 23 days, however the extra support does give it the promise of bigger and better things without the additional cost.
Miracle Diet Drops Side Effects
This product is a fairly safe product to take when all things are considered. The product contains a number of amino acids which are produced naturally by the body and so shouldn’t cause you any undue problems. In the case of cartinine be prepared for your excretions (e.g. sweat, urine, breath) to have a fishy odour as L-cartinine is a main contributor in Omega 3 oils.
Also don’t get too carried away with the idea that green tea is completely safe. Green tea is often considered a safer alternative to coffee as it has the same benefits as coffee without the risk of raising heart rate. Having said this, the side effects associated with green tea and coffee are almost identical due to them both containing caffeine. Some side effects which are quite common include insomnia, nausea, headaches and increased heart rate. Both ginseng and ginkgo leaf also demonstrate similar side effects but these are not altogether common.
The real concern comes when dosages are exceeded. In terms of ginseng, high dosages have resulted in liver damage and severe rashes called Stevens – Johnson syndrome have been reported. Ginkgo leaf has also demonstrated the potential for development of thyroid and liver cancer when dosages have been exceeded by a high amount. This is according to information obtained by Web MD.

Where to Buy Miracle Diet Drops
Miracle Diet Drops are available to buy through the manufacturer’s online store which can be accessed from the official website. If you do decide to purchase the product be aware that the product lasts for 23 days and the purchase of the product also comes with a diet plan, an e-book and access to the products members’ only Facebook group. The total price of all of these aspects comes to £30.49 once the £4.99 posting and packing charge has been added to the flat £25.50 charge. It is always good to see companies adding extra incentives on top of the product; however it is always difficult to judge exactly how effective these extras are likely to be.
You can also pick up the product from EBay although it is unlikely you will receive the extra benefits such as permission to join the Facebook group and the e-books.
The cheapest seller we were able to find at the time of writing was made available by cornishwoodworkshop. In this case only the product is being sold. The price being currently advertised is £19.99 with free postage and packing. There are other offers which either include the diet plan or e-book but are more expensive. If you wish to buy the product and don’t really care for the additional extras then EBay will probably be the way to go. If however you feel that you would benefit from the additional extras then buying the product from the official website will probably be the better idea.
This product is fairly unique in that it offers much more than just the product itself. For this reason it may well worth a try simply because it is so much more than just a weight loss supplement. Unfortunately the claims the manufacturer makes are not backed up by a scientific studies and so this may put a lot of people off. It certainly doesn’t give the product any extra credibility. The company seem to have suffered from poor customer service in the recent past and it is too early to tell whether they have truly put this behind them. They have certainly made efforts to remedy some of the criticism but there is still plenty more aspects that need to be worked on. This product may be worth a try because even if you don’t get on with the product then you still get to keep the recipe e-books which may be an interesting and useful item for food lovers. There are certainly better products out there but it is always nice to see a product that offers something slightly different and for this reason, it may well be worth a try.
