NutraScience MAXtrim Review

The manufacturers claim a lot of benefits for health and weight loss from taking NutraScience MAXtrim, and have advertised it through plenty of online channels as a miracle pill that will cause instant weight loss. However, when you try to discover the details and look further into this supplement, there appears to be a worrying lack of information and it becomes clear that the product is sold using a ‘free trial scam’.

Claimed weight loss benefits

The company originally claimed on their website that there were a large range of benefits for the diet pills, before the website was taken down; they also reinforced these suggestions through a number of fake news articles posted online and linked from sites such as Facebook in order to increase interest in the pills. The weight loss benefits that they intimated were associated with the supplement included appetite suppression, fat burning, and a general health boost as those taking the pills would make you “eat less, feel better”. A statement on the bottle also claims that they will “detoxify your body”.

How NutraScience MAXtrim Works

woman_measuring_weight_loss_538

The manufacturers recommend that you take the NutraScience MAXtrim pills at the same time as using the NutraScience TARGETslim patch, that is all the indication that we really have at all of how it is supposed to work. There is nothing else in any of the pages which have been put online in the past by the manufacturers to suggest what ingredients might be in the supplement except from Acai Berry, and there is no evidence proven through clinical trials that that has any effect on weight loss.

Given this, it is very hard to say exactly how this product are supposed to work, and even harder still to prove whether or not it does work. The website has also now been taken down.

What was originally written there was information about how the product would supposedly help you: it would apparently stop you from experiencing cravings, burn fat, help to retain muscle mass, suppress appetite, and help you feel better. However, the evidence backing up those details from the ingredients list is difficult to come by, and none of the current sellers of the product list the ingredients either. The only ingredient that we can is mentioned in the product is Acai Berry, and even then this has had no official confirmation.

Acai Berry

The acai berry is often touted as a ‘superfood’ and has been said to have the potential to aid weight loss. The ingredient is high in antioxidants, which might be beneficial for general health, but have not been proven to help weight loss. It is not entirely clear how acai berry is thought to be beneficial for weight loss and there is no scientific evidence available to back this claim. Moreover, we do not know how much acai berry is present in a serving of this supplement.

Key NutraScience MAXtrim Ingredients

acai_berries_538

Listing the key ingredients for NutraScience MAXtrim is no easy task, largely for the reason that the manufacturers themselves have not released a list of the ingredients. What is more, none of the online sellers who stock this product have listed the ingredients either, so it is very difficult indeed to find any information at all about what is included in the supplement. The only thing that is suggested by any documentation from the manufacturers is that it might contain Acai Berry, though this is not confirmed completely and therefore cannot be taken absolutely as truth.

When it is not clear what the ingredients of a supplement are at all, it is really important that you check what is in it before you start to take it. Our advice to you is that if you do decide to go ahead and take this product, you should check the bottle before you start taking the pills in order to see what the ingredients are included and decide whether or not to take it based on that.

Acai Berry

Acai berries are taken from the acai palm and the extract of the fruit is often used in herbal medicine and in beauty products. It is claimed to be high in antioxidants and to have anti-ageing properties. Some sources also claim that acai berries can be beneficial for weight loss, but this has not been proven.

Clinical Studies

Clinical Researcher 538

Normally, in a situation where we cannot find any clinical studies for the actual product, as is the case with NutraScience MAXtrim. We would look at the ingredients in order to see what clinical trials have been carried out on them and in what ways they have been found to be effective. Unfortunately, we use the word “normally” here because of the fact that we cannot look at clinical trials either for the product itself or for the ingredients within it, because there has not been a list of the ingredients released as public information.

The only ingredient which we can find any information about, albeit vague information, is Acai berry, so we can take a look into the weight loss claims for that ingredient in order to learn at least a little bit about the diet pills.

Acai Berry

Only one study has been performed to look at the effects of Acai berry on weight loss and this was of very poor quality. It was a pilot study that used a very small sample of subjects and did not involve a control group and as such, cannot be deemed conclusive. For this study, 10 overweight subjects consumed 100g acai pulp twice a day for a month. The results suggested that intake of acai for 30 days could help to reduce cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels following a meal. The authors concluded that acai might help to reduce some markers of metabolic disease risk in overweight people.

NutraScience MAXtrim Side Effects

Woman With Stomach Ache 538

Despite searching a large amount of customer reviews, we have not been able to find reports of any side effects whatsoever. Since we do not know what ingredients are listed within the product, we cannot go through those and suggest what side effects might come from ingesting them, so really when it comes to side-effects we are totally in the dark.

Just because no side effects have been reported does not mean that there are not any to be had; particularly if you are already on another form of medication or suffering from a medical condition, you should think twice about taking these pills and should check with your doctor beforehand to ensure that they would not clash.

One piece of advice that is always given to those who are taking diet pills is to refrain from taking them if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the ingredients in the supplement will be taken through your bloodstream and will be ingested by the baby, which may be detrimental to its system.

How to Use

Woman With Pills 538

There are no instructions on the official website, and it has now been taken down so it is unlikely that any more will surface from the manufacturers; this means that we can only rely on the information that we already have, and that does not amount to much.

One thing that we already do know is that it is recommended to take the pills at the same time as using the NutraScience TARGETslim patch, a patch that should be applied to the target area for weight loss. Of course there is no evidence that it is possible to target weight loss in this kind of way, and so it is not clear exactly what the patch adds to the equation. We really have no advice that we can give you on the best way to take this tablet, and so it is impossible to give you the instructions in this case. Read any instructions provided with the product carefully before taking.

Who Makes It?

There was originally an official website for it at nutrasciencediet.com, but that has since been shut down and is no longer run by the company. It is most likely that it was taken down due to the number of complaints of fraud against them.

There is currently one other website which is running under a similar name, in the form of < Nutra-science Industries, Ltd. While this website does seem to supply weight loss and general health products, they do not list the MAXtrim pills or any other related products which were part of the NutraScience range, and so it is thought that this is a completely different company entirely. As for the actual company, it is absolutely clear from a wide range of sources that they are not to be trusted. No matter whether you are searching one kind of consumer alert forum or another, the results are all the same: they have created a huge amount of financial damage by taking money from customer accounts after a supposedly free trial had ended, during which time it was almost impossible to cancel the free trial thanks to a series of roadblocks set up by the company. These included not being able to get in touch over the phone with them, not being able to email them, and needing to send the pills back unopened at your own cost in order for them to accept them. Generally speaking, those who took the free trial ended up being charged £75 on a monthly basis until they were able to finally cancel the payments, normally by going through their bank rather than trying to get results with the company. If you have been a victim of this scam and wish to know how to get your own money back, the best option is to call your bank first and see what they can do about it as this is now known as a recognised scam. view our best diet pills chart

Where to Buy NutraScience MAXtrim

where_to_buy_538

If you are looking to get your hands on a bottle of NutraScience MAXtrim, you can purchase it through eBay at the average price of around £8 for a bottle of sixty capsules, which is supposed to last you thirty days, with free postage included. However, we do not recommend purchasing supplements from eBay as the product quality cannot be guaranteed.

If however, you wanted to buy it from the manufacturers themselves, you would have had to go to the NutraScience Diet site – which has since been closed down – or purchase through one of their advertisements which could have been found on Facebook, on various webpages, and in magazines through links on their web versions.

Unfortunately, as is often the case with these kinds of advertisements, what they were hiding was a scam. The NutraScience deal was to offer you a free trial of the product, which would cost you only £2.50 for the postage and packaging, which you could cancel within two weeks if you did not wish to continue trying it. However, a close inspection of the terms and conditions indicates that you needed to call the company and send all the pills back if you wanted to end the free trial – and the problem for many people was that they were unable to get in touch with the team or send back all of the pills at the end of the trial period, which meant that they ended up getting billed on an automatic basis for more supplements.

Many people reported having payments of £75 or more taken from their accounts, with most of them not actually managing to get any more bottles of the supplements sent out to them.

If it was not clear already, our advice would not be to buy directly from the manufacturers, as they are fraudulent and have since closed down their website, making it impossible to get into contact with them. This means that buying from a different source such as eBay is your only option; there are no more reputable stores which sell the product, unfortunately, so it is important to be wary when purchasing from eBay that you will get the product that you ordered.

Overall Verdict

Very little information is available about this product. The supplement is claimed to burn fat and suppress the appetite, but an ingredients list is not available. The only ingredient that is disclosed is acai berry – a substance that has not been shown to aid weight loss in reliable clinical studies. There is no way of knowing whether this product will be effective or safe. The product was sold using a free trial scam.
