The results concluded that raspberry ketone was able to prevent the high fat induced elevations in body weight while also increasing lipolysis meaning that stores of fat started to burn.

In a 10 week, randomised, double blind and placebo controlled study, 102 overweight subjects were given either 150mg of African mango seed extract or a placebo 30 minutes before lunch and dinner. Those receiving the African mango improved both weight reduction and metabolic parameters (cholesterol, blood glucose, adiponectin and leptin levels).

In another randomised, double blind, placebo controlled study that lasted for one month, 40 overweight patients were given African mango. Each patient was given 3 capsules containing 350mg of African mango or a placebo 3 times each day 30 minutes before meals with a glass of warm water. They were evaluated each week and were instructed to keep a record of the food they had consumed. In conclusion, those who had taken the African mango had reduced body weight, waist and hip circumference and metabolic parameters.

Green Tea Extract

In one study conducted in Thailand in 2008, 60 obese subjects were given a Thai diet containing 3 meals for 12 weeks, while taking either green tea or a placebo. Body weight, BMI, body composition, resting energy expenditure and substrate oxidation was measured at the start and during weeks 4,8 and 12 of the study. The results of the study concluded that green tea is able to reduce body weight by increasing energy expenditure and fat oxidation.

    I am impressed with Raspberry Ketones so far. I started on Sunday using 1 in the morning and 1 with my mid afternoon meal. I also used with Garcinia Cambodia and today Thursday I lost 3in on my waist and 1.5 on my hips. That’s just in 5 days. I am doing exams so haven’t been in the gym this wk.
