Raspberry Ultra Drops Review
Raspberry Ultra Drops are a weight loss supplement that is claimed by the manufacturers to be perfect for anyone who wants to get rid of their excess body fat while maintaining muscle. They supposedly work by increasing metabolism, suppressing appetite and burning fat with help from the key ingredient, raspberry ketone.
Claimed weight loss benefits
Raspberry Ultra Drops is a weight management supplement that claims to be full of antioxidants and fat burning ingredients that will enable you to lose 1-2 pounds a day. The company website states that the drops are not only 500 times more effective than capsules but are also all-natural and completely safe. Unfortunately they fail to back up these statements with any evidence. The key ingredient, raspberry ketone, has not been proven to aid weight loss in clinical studies.
How Raspberry Ultra Drops Works
The product website states that Raspberry Ultra Drops work in several ways: by suppressing appetite, by increasing metabolic rate and by burning fat. Some of the ingredients found within this product are thought to work by lowering levels of the hormone leptin, meaning hunger pangs might be kept at bay; other ingredients are said to be thermogenic, meaning that the core body temperature is increased and in turn so is the metabolic rate, potentially helping you to burn fat quicker.
The manufacturers describe raspberry Ultra Drops as ‘the hottest new weight management supplement’ made from 8 super ingredients that are full of antioxidants and burn fat quickly. They are said to be perfect for anyone who wants to lose their excess body fat but maintain their muscle while permanently changing their appearance.
Raspberry ketone is an aromatic compound found in raspberries. It is believed that when taken in high doses it can increase the body’s production of adiponectin, a protein that helps to regulate your metabolism and break down fat stores. However, although it is highly favoured as a weight loss supplement, the only clinical evidence of its results was found in mice rather than humans.
To find out more about the hype surrounding raspberry ketones, we recommend you read our Raspberry Ketone review.
Green Tea Extract
Green tea extract is perhaps best known for its natural antioxidant properties. It is also often claimed to provide thermogenic fat burning benefits, as the metabolic rate is said to increase with a rise in internal body temperature.

African Mango Extract
Praised for its ability to help reduce body fat and to lower weight by speeding up metabolism, African mango extract is also believed to lower leptin levels, leaving you feeling less hungry. It is thought that the extract can lower your cholesterol, preventing your arteries from hardening – meaning that it might also be beneficial for your health in general.
Key Raspberry Ultra Drops Ingredients
Raspberry Ketone is an aromatic compound found in raspberries and has been used as a weight loss aid since the 1960s. High doses of the substance are thought to help to increase the body’s production of a protein called adiponectin, which helps to regulate your metabolism and break down stores of fat.
African Mango Extract
African mango extract is said to help to reduce body fat and lower weight by speeding up metabolism. It can also supposedly lower levels of leptin in the body, reducing sensations of hunger and suppressing appetite.
Green Tea Extract
Green tea is an anti-oxidant that is derived from a natural source. It is purportedly a thermogenic substance meaning that it might be beneficial in burning fat as the metabolic rate increases due to the internal body temperature rising.
When you decide to try a new diet pill (weight loss supplement) one of the first things that you will consider is if there is any proof to support the claims made by the manufacturer. This is where clinical studies come in, however, many diet pills are not clinically tested.
Despite claiming that their product is FDA approved, the company behind Raspberry Ultra Drops offers no evidence of any clinical studies to support this claim. Furthermore, since it has not been clinically trialled, we cannot assume that this product is safe to use. However, some of the key ingredients within the drops have been clinically tested and we can look at these studies.
There have been several clinical trials of raspberry ketones, undertaken using rats and mice. One group of rodents were given raspberry ketone and put on a high fat diet while another group was not. The average weight of the rodents receiving the ketone and high fat diet was only slightly higher than those on a normal diet with no ketone.
Another placebo-controlled study was carried out using 45 obese humans. Two groups were both given the same exercise and diet but one was also given raspberry ketone. This group resulted in significantly lower weight at the end of the study. However the supplement given also contained caffeine, capsaicin, garlic, ginger and Citrus Aurantium, and so we cannot be certain if the results were down to raspberry ketones or not.
African Mango Extract
During a 10 week randomised, placebo controlled study of 102 overweight patients, 51 were given African mango extract to take 30 minutes before lunch and dinner. At the end of the study those who had been taking the mango extract had lost more weight than those who had not.
Raspberry Ultra Drops Side Effects
There has been no testing conducted on Raspberry Ultra Drops and the manufacturers provide no details of any side effects, meaning it is difficult to establish whether there are any. However, it is believed that one of the supplement’s key ingredients, raspberry ketone, is chemically related to synephrine – a substance with potentially dangerous side effects including increased heart rate and high blood pressure.
It is also important to remember that as Raspberry Ultra Drops have not been tested themselves, there could still be more dangerous side effects we do not know about.
The Raspberry Ultra Drops website does not give any details of any possible side effects and neither does the product’s label, meaning there is no way to know how safe the product really is. As there have been no clinical trials conducted on this product, we can only look at the side effects of the product’s ingredients.
Although raspberry ketone has been claimed to be a brilliant weight loss aid, it has not been extensively studied in humans therefore, we cannot know the full extent of its side effects. However, the ketone is chemically related to a stimulant called synephrine, which worries some experts. This means that the side effects of raspberry ketone may be similar to those of synephrine. Such side effects include jitteriness, dizziness, an increase in blood pressure, a rapid heartbeat, and heart palpitations. This is because raspberry ketone regulates the body’s release of a substance called norepinephrine and this can raise blood pressure and heart rate. It is advised that those who suffer from high blood pressure or asthma should avoid using raspberry ketone.
African Mango Extract
There are not many reports of side effects when taking African mango extract. The only side effects that have come to light are flatulence, headaches and sleeping issues.
How to Use
There are no instructions provided for users on the product’s website and there have been many reviews on the website’s contact page stating that customers did not receive any with the product. All diet supplements should come with at least a label, carrying details of how to take the supplement.
The website advises that you should follow a healthy diet while using the drops. However it then goes on to say that weight is lost whether or not you have a good diet. The site also gives no diet plan to follow while using the drops and does not offer any suggestions as to what it deems a ‘good’ diet.
A dosage should be provided. There are many diet drops on the market, all with different dosages. It is important to know how much to take in case of any side effects or even a potential overdose. There is no warning to any groups who may not be able to take the drops, for example pregnant women or those with allergies, and as there is no full list of ingredients the lack of this warning proves even more dangerous.
We would recommend that anybody with a pre-existing health condition consult a doctor before taking this product. It is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Who Makes It?
Although the product has its own website, there is no company name attached to it. The contact page of the site does not share any information as to what the company is called, where it is based or who runs it. The only information given is that the drops are produced somewhere in the USA.
Complaint websites such as complaintsboard.com and ScamBook.com are full of customer complaints about Raspberry Ultra Drops claiming that the company owes over $2million in unresolved reported damages and is nothing more than a scam. Many people who have purchased drops from the Raspberry Ultra Drop website have reported illegal activities from the company, from false advertising to fraud.
Several people on the forums complain that their email accounts have been hacked since signing up to receive the drops, with the company sending out advertising emails persuading the customer’s contacts to buy their drops. Other users accuse the company of taking money from their accounts but never actually sending the product.
There are also reports of false advertising as much of the information provided on the website is not correct. For example, it is stated that Raspberry Ultra Drops have been approved by the FDA, however there is no evidence to support this claim and there are, in fact, no clinical trials of the product to date. The company also states in email adverts that a major American news company recommends their product, something that is not true.
With not even a company name provided, the people behind Raspberry Ultra Drops do not seem credible. There have been hundreds of negative reviews and complaints about the company, some appearing to be very serious. The fact that there is absolutely no information about the manufacturers might leave a question over the safety of the product.
Where to Buy Raspberry Ultra Drops
Raspberry Ultra Drops are not available to purchase from UK stores and it appears that they are not available to purchase from Amazon or eBay. The product’s website states that you can purchase a 60 day pack of the drops for $299.99 (£186.02) or 2oz of the drops for $89.99 (£55.80) and states that it will ship internationally. However, there are reports that the company behind the drops are currently facing a bill of $2million in unresolved reported damages and they have been accused of false advertising, hacking personal email accounts, and charging customers without sending their product.
